This made me contemplate the idea of a recipe book written in the style of "Instruction for a Fruit".

This in turn made me think about a hypothetical cookbook that conveys a mythos through it's recipes. Perhaps it would be written as if it was in-universe.

I'm too busy hibernating to go buy cheap pizza... and yet I can hardly justify spending extra to have it delivered. ;_; Basically all the food I have in my house is crummy white bread, peanut butter and Vegemite. Which combine pretty well, but still- not much variety.
Maybe I can cook that packaged pasta meal I have lying around from ages ago, but I think my milk might be off.

Going into it I had no real idea what to expect, so that was nice. Foreign films with subtitles always get bonus points for me, since I don't feel like I'm ruining the experience by turning subtitles on so my deaf self knows what's being said.

i like watching English-language and foreign-language films alike with subtitles, even though i can hear just fine. Idk why.
