Happy thread makes me rage because my phone can't open all those spoilers, then it made me WTF because LSP makes no sense to me and seems to be referencng me for some reason, and now I'm thinking that those two might be related.

the town is beautiful at night

i get a pretty shitty panorama usually, but after a liter and then some of delicious cider everything is fine and dandy in wizerdland

i can see four separate settlements far far away, across the big river, their lights flashing about so airplanes think twice about hitting them in the face and having said face fly off in an arc

and so many lights on the into town side it's mesmerizing

how come i don't see this when not lightly buzzed

I have to love my current players in my Pathfinder game if Only because of one difference between my old ones and my current ones (not that I didn't like my old ones, a few I'd wish could join my new one)

It is that when they see an inconsistency they just immediately assume there is a reason for this.

Which is a HUGE difference between my last two groups. Where "This is too easy" was met with "Clearly the GM is godmodding us" and not "Clearly the general is a sneaky bastard and knows he is safe somehow... maybe he is a body double, or has a sniper, or can teleport at will"

Instead it is like "Hmmm this was just some sort of rinkydink ship in the middle of the ocean being caught by pirates who knew about the treasure onboard." met with "Clearly there is more going on then we can see".

You have NO idea, if you never DMed, what a huge difference this makes to the game, your experience, and just the level of fun involved.
