I had a good day today directly in spite of how I am feeling. I deliberately tried my hardest to enjoy my day and not brood on the things that are upsetting me. I didn't do great at it and I did spend a good fourth of my day brooding, but I did good enough that I deem it worthy of use as a coping mechanism. It's a much, much better alternative than drinking as much booze as I possibly can as fast as I can.


Edit: Holy fuck I'm growing up and it makes me very sad, very proud, and it makes me look at my parents in a whole new light. >.>
