The maths regarding the stability Depends on "width" too AFAIK, so even if one could be built, noting particularly big will be wormholed any distance any time soon. Good for information/photons though.

I haven't played that, so I couldn't say.
It's pretty dang hilarious though- it goes from people actually caring about their role and doing a good job of it to people who can't pronounce "produce".
Personally I find it more amusing than anything, overall. :))

What I understood is that is the length exceed the width, the wormhole is stable enough to send a pulse of light through.

Yeah. It addedx another seven factions, to of which are aliens. It added some other stuff as I recall - different kinds of mindworms, few other things.
