I... have enough money that I can eat out every night, if I want to, and keep up with bills and my savings. I don't want to, but this is a weird level of financial security. Pity I'm throwing it away in a few months for a graduate student stipend. Ah well. It's quite nice right now, anyway.

Pharmacy technician at a hospital. Evidently, if you stick around long enough, automatic raises add up. Or at least they will until our state government gets around to hacking at unions some more.

Funny, actually. We've hooked up a laptop to our loungeroom TV and are watching the DOTA LCS internationals qualifiers. With beer and nachos.

Queue a not-nerd guy walk in just as some douchebag gives away first blood, and sees us all gathered around shouting at a game.

Finished a pretty fun RPG session and a few races in Super Laser Racer with my brothers for our weekly game night. Since I updated some dated hardware that was hindering my connection, I finally got to showcase my true skill. I lost... A few times, but it actually felt nice to lose against human opponents, on a more balanced playing field while at it (I was the slow and clumsy one previously, and because of lag, as I proved tonight without lag. Felt nice scoring within top ratings, or dying in the process). But I did get to really surprise them a few times, pulling some lucky shots and skillful maneuvers.

Not a bad spread over about 10-odd races? Felt nice hanging out with them after a delay or two the past couple weeks.
