I find it bitterly amusing that half of those cities are from the US. You don't need to be in a poor country to have a high chance of getting murdered. Like what was going on in Moscow during the 90s, I remember there were entire gangs of drugged-up children of rich parents that would just go around crippling and murdering people for fun and the police wouldn't do anything because it was corrupt to the core.

I was honest. >.> I pointed out the realities of the situation after it became clear things were still complicated. It was really nice to be totally honest with someone about my hopes, fears, and expectations.
