Spent the better part of my day off from work visiting the nearby national park and enjoyed some peace and quiet for the better part of the day (away from town, technology, people, home, work, and just chilling out at the beach, catching up on lost time). Clear skies, warm water. Managed to evade another shark while swimming there. I also outdone myself majorly in a game tonight (far exceeding any of my most optimistic expectations even). Simply put, I haven't felt this awesome in a long time. Probably one of my better days off I've had. I feel much more restored, and ready to take on things with a clearer head again.

Yeah, I pulled up a Bob Ross video... and the techniques generally worked in the program. Pretty impressive, as I generally can't do that with real paint.

Not intending to bring any sadness in the happies, and fuck those vector dissers who were obviously jealous of her abilities, but I think the "benefit" they'd get from attributing success to a status is some sense of pride, like "it's not like she learned it, she just had an affinity for it".
