It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I had an interview today.  I was not hired immediately but I seem to have impressed my hopeful future supervisor.

Then I got home and noticed my fly was down all day.  Fortunately outside the building tour I was on the other side of a desk the whole time so I am confident it was not noticed.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

My 1300-page Sanskrit dictionary came in the mail this afternoon. Magnificent, authoritative, comprehensive, and also, since there are smaller dictionaries that cover nearly anything I could possibly want to read, almost completely useless.

<3
I don't even know what sanskrit is, but it is always nice to have a large comprehensive option for when yer not sure what one of the other books would cover some crazy cross genre thing.

*google* Oh it's the crazy old curvy letters language.  That sounds marginally useful actually.

I have a nice tan developing. :3 Also, chicks at Byrdfest hit on me. Did I mention that? I didn't reciprocate because I wasn't quite sane at the time. Plus I was thinking of this other girl.

Come to think of it, I am actually pretty damn sexy for a drug-addled degenerate with mediocre aspirations.

So I took a certification exam about an hour and a half ago.  I expected to do rather poorly on it, seeing as how I was mainly taking it out of spite and I hadn't really studied for it too hard.

I made a 755 on it, with 750 to pass.

I am the god of making it by the skin of my teeth.

So I'm laying down on the bed, using my laptop on my stomach like I always do, and my all-black cat walks up to me, and stands on my chest, and starts licking my forehead repeatedly.

I don't even.

I finally got around to figuring out how to disable PS3 consoles from my PSN account.
Now I can finally access all my DLC and what-not again. :)

You pet that cat. Pet it until it purrs itself to sleep. Because that is seriously the cutest thing I've heard all day.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Today marks the beginning of the best worst forum game ever made, for I have started Round of 1 of the Succession Drawing Game with the theme and initial image.
Let's see the creative minds of Bay12 create a collaborative masterpiece!

Or an abomination a piece of modern art. That works, too.

Tests are so much more fun when they're trivial.

Edit: And apparently I can still violin. Suck it, skill rust!

Yesterday was my cakeday! I have so far received two awesome presents: a giant tub of trail mix (the kind that has chocolate in it), and a black leather trenchcoat.
