That isn't necessarily true though. Smiles can mean all sorts of things.

Plenty of fake smiles and "I'll murder you" smiles all around.

Depends if you know what to look for. There's more to smiles than just lips.

At the time I was watching the Fate/Stay Unlimited Blade Works movie.  There's not many well-animated anime movies out there, but that one had a rather nice animation budget and the story was close to the manga, if I remember correctly (I'm a sucker for good animation though, that shit's hard work).

I just realized that I haven't watched all the Studio Ghibli movies in a while.  Well, I know what I'm wasting my afternoon on

I'm happy today.
I've transcended the entry-level happy, where you have to provide a reason for your happy. No, now I'm on an entirely different level. Now I'm on the 'I'm goddamn really fucking happy, and I don't know why, and I don't really care why. I am and I will continue to be so, and this is good.'

I've been happy for like a week and a half straight.
I'm so happy that it should probably be causing me health problems right now.

An haughty alien civilization is trying to take over the Earth to "civilize" it without its inhabitants' consent by using agents of influence spreading their ideas. Those who don't comply with their will are promptly exterminated and replaced with puppets. They are the most American (or should I say, Western) villains I've ever seen since the Visitors from "V". They even use the US State Department rhetoric when arguing with the main characters at the end ("You are going against the entire galactic community! Your planet is a threat to us!", etc.).
