My latest game of Don't Starve gave me so many windfalls that I'm nervous. Firstly, I found a touchstone rather early. Then, I ran out of flint without a pickaxe to mine more and none to be found on the ground, only to find a skeleton with a pickaxe. There were actually two skeletons next to each other, the other had a bush hat, bird traps, and a bird trap blueprint. Then after a couple gold-less days, I venture quite far afield. As I'm about to turn back for the night, I find a gold boulder. After mining it, I begin the hike back. Then, I find a pig village, complete with flowers and carrots. (Both my hunger and sanity were quite low at this point.) I now have a good base set up.
