I tried to find a way to word this post without sounding circlejerky, but I just want to say that you guys are probably the most friendly community I am in despite the rough exteriors, mermaid bones, and sociopathy prevalent here. You guys are all nice people despite what society might judge.

And I love that. I love you guys. <3

I find it amusingly ironic that the people who talk about mermaid death camps, goblin mutilation and dwarf abuse are so civil while the internet communities that are based around faith, veganism and social equality are, at least in Russia, some of the most viciously hateful pits of prejudice and spite I've seen in my life. I can guarantee you that if, for example, Vector complained about her mother abusing her on a russian family forum of which I once had the displeasure to be a part, the three highest rated comments would be: "That's what you get for being an atheist.", "You are perfectly fine and just trying to slander your mother because you are an ungrateful overprivileged teenaged bitch." and "Russian family sucks, you should all escape this hell and move to America!".

You're echoing the proverb of Everyone is uniquely different.
Which makes a ton of sense if thought is put into it.

I suddenly want to play a game where you cross-breed extremely-detailed historically-accurate tanks and armored vehicles, as well as crossbreed warships and aircraft, and small-arms units? With "mutations"!

Then take them into battle, as an RTS. Where you breed your vehicles/army and then select a spread of vehicles/units to take into a battle against opponents.

(I contemplated a World of Tanks style, but... That's not actually all that fun-sounding to me? So bah!)

Make it a whole WW2 battlefield repertoire.

I have no idea how you would implement cross-breeding across the types, though. Tanks with planes, for example. Keeping it within the same... er... "species" would be most reasonable...

But it'd be fucking awesome to crossbreed air-cavalry with an anti-tank cannon, just as one example.
