Common sense dictates that a new, popular, and chart-topping game would have had an LP.
Not to mention that Goat Simulator was actually hyped up before its release, so I think there would be an LP out the moment the game released.

#JustNeckbeardThings
TW: Butts

Brings an interesting question to mind - why so many pop culture affictionados are overweight and unsightly? Or is it ust perception bias and we simply pay more attention to fat and/or ugly nerds than we pay to fat and/or ugly people of other hobbies?
Probably more of the latter. I tend to see football fans as loud, obnoxious, bad-light-swilling jerks, but I know that most football fans are not like that, they're just the loud minority. Just like foreigners tend to see Americans as overweight idiots who love hunting and NASCAR, when really, that's just my stepmother's parents.

I also have a book-related happy. I found an old copy of Tom Sawyer.

Specifically, a 1917 copy of Tom Sawyer.

In pre-Revolutionary orphography.

Yeah.

Oh wow, that's amazing! Is it in good condition, or is it more a case of "don't touch it or it'll turn to dust"?

See, that's what I thought the emphasis was about.  "Given common sense, WHY ARE THERE NO LPS"

EDIT: Thanks to Haspen for pointing out that this is post #12,000 for me. Seems like it should have been more profound than some YouTube silliness from 2 years ago.

I just figured out how to get the lumps out of my cheek topology. It turns out I was sort of positioning faces where there should be edges. It might have been easier to see if I were looking at tris instead of quads.  Sometimes the direction of that invisible edge makes a huge difference.

Don't have much time to tell the full story right now. But the gist of it is. Friend of a friend is a cute girl and amazing artist. Add her on FB, start chatting about stuff, turns out she admired my work and looked up to it (now she's way better than me, which is not a bummer but a suprising amount of inspiration and motivation). She also wants to do a sketchmeet next week with some other people and invited me.

I can't put into words how terrifying, and exciting this all is.

So have an onomatopoeia:

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

Edit:

Also, the reason I don't have much time is because I'm going to see the Winter solider tonight :D

Speaking of, The Final Countdown cover. Completely a capella. Including synths and guitar.

They need to do a Muppets acapella of Final Countdown.

Related: anytime I hear the BeeGees I always imagine a muppet singing it, all flopping around and stuff.

Today was a good day.
Finished the essential parts of some GCSE work, freeing up a bunch of my time and apparently the work I did is really good; I got a couple of new books; and I made friends with a girl with more curves than the Nurburgring.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
