Wearing socks makes me frequently fall on my ass because I am clumsy and my floors are wooden. I do like sliding around like a doofus though, even if I end up in pain.

Yes, and I've been falling for months. Do you know how hard it is to type in mid-air?

New house. New-ish, anyways. Had to be completely gutted to become livable, so not everything is ready yet. Which means only one washroom and the basement is a combination of temporary plywood flooring and dirt.

Unless you're a cute schoolgirl, or have some kind of cute checkered or striped ones. Though I do need to wrap up my ankles a bit since they tend towards spraining without some slight pressure.

Happy: I just watched Gurren Lagann. An odd show, but it was enjoyable, despite the fact that I'm not normally a fan of sci-fi or mecha.

It also features the most amazing set of shades ever. I finally understand a bunch of references in Homestuck that sorta flew past me before.

A lot of people I know go sockless because they are either nerds (no offence) or pseudoitalian fashionistas (a subspecie of nerd, really), but I think that socks are very comfortable and infinitely preferable to blisters.
