Agreed.


New socks are the worst. Old broken-in socks are tolerable if they must be worn, but new socks result in being uncomfortable the entire time they're on one's feet.

Because it's cold as fuck in winter, I wear socks around inside a lot. I wear socks to sleep. Literally the only time I remove socks daily for three or four months out of the year is to take a shower.

Naturally, this accelerates wear on them, so I like new socks because they're not gray, threadbare, and full of holes. Also, my old socks, which were the only ones I had for some time, were all a bit large, whereas any new socks I get are nice and snug on my feet.

When I get some fresh new socks, I always toss them into the dryer for a few minutes and wear them immediately for toastyfeet

Wolfeyez and I helped one of my best friends move into our apartment complex. He's a few buildings down, but that's a whole hell of a lot better than all the way across the city. ^_^
