There's also three or four styles of holding your gun, which affects your speed/readiness.
Add to that you have weight requirements on the amount of stuff you carry.
Plus if you use half of your clip and reload, you'll have a half-clip on you, which can be surprising if it turns up later.

Depending on how realistic they get, that could well be on the tables for ARMA 5.
I guess you'd have to trust your majority-appointed commander to organize your base layout so that the latrines are far enough away to prevent disease and miasma, but close enough that the sentries on roster are able to detect bathroom-ninjas.

But I think they took a lot of the sandbox-mmo out of it in ARMA 3.
