I always thought kinky sex and pop culture mixed regularly and intimately.

Other people remember this movie.

You can intimately mix anything with kinky sex. That's why it's kinky.
Oh, man, you aren't kidding. I've got this one story about a clown suit, a can of pineapple juice, and a rubber ducky that would probably get me thrown off the forums.

... I can't tell if you're joking. And I can't tell if I want a PM clarifying the issue.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

My brain. It is now noise.

Note: WebGL lies beyond this point; you may not want to visit on mobile.

Need looping noise, but the algorithm says no? Convert your 1d spaces into 2d circles! Having problems getting Fractal Brownian Motion to loop? Vary your grid size, rather than input frequency!
https://www.shadertoy.com/view/4sBGzK

And why not go further! Take some nice FBM noise, and use it as an input to a discrete fractal noise based on BlumBlumShub noise, take a threshold value of that, and DDX-DDY it into lovely random lines and gradient contours!
https://www.shadertoy.com/view/XdS3W3

Or some fractal voronoi!

I've also got ways of dynamically altering fractal noise frequencies without making it incoherent, blending noise types together, ect. This rabbit hole at the center of computer graphics goes waaay deep. It's like cooking, but with math! :D

My school cafeteria changed its poutine recipe. It used to be french fries with gross gelatinous gravy and shredded mozza, but now it's french fries with actually decent gravy and legit cheese curds. And it is delicious.

I tried those, and didn't find them all that fun.

Granted, I have next to no patience, and it seems like a game that really gets good after you've played it for a bit, so there's that.
