Huh. I kept hearing Good Stuff about X-Com, but thought it's more just plain turn-based tacticky strategy. Now I'm interested...
That's it in a nutshell. It's just amazing at it.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Is nitrous oxide psychoactive, or does it just lower your voice?

Nitrous oxide is laughing gas, in smaller levels it gives you a sense of euphoria (*Tips fedora*) and general silliness, kind of like being drunk but it feels different. It wears off very quickly, and the greatest risk is passing from not getting enough oxygen and hitting your head.

Hmm, I wouldn't say it is that much... It isn't that everything is hilarious, it is just you are set to being happy. You can still find things sad, you just don't feel sad.

Just beat my Emerald Nuzlocke run! So fun!

Final Team:
Io the Bannete, lv58
Kappo the Gyarados, lv58
Oqa the Rayquaza, lv70
Gihb the Camerupt, lv 57 (Sadly fell to the final mon of the final boss)
Gade the Vileplume, lv57
Gnoop the Whailmer, lv29

Victory! With nothing like how I thought the team would end up. All the guys I had pegged to bring me to victory died. It was fun though - I understand the appeal of Nuzlockes!

How'd you get Rayquaza in a Nuzlocke run? Wouldn't you have run into other Pokemon in the Sky Pillar?

Tried that, my Shedinja didn't help.

But there's that item that prevents enemy mons from spawning if they're a lower level than the mon carrying it. He probably used that.

It wasn't even altogether intentional. The Ocean route encounters got so annoying that I just kept Max Repel on ALL THE TIME, pretty much, while I was traveling it. And then when it ran out on the final floor, I am like "Well, there's probably something nice up here, maybe the dragon snake thing is back, might as well just throw it on again just in case there are dumb encounters here"

It wasn't until after I got the Rayquaza that I was even sure there were encounters in the Sky Tower, hah, because I specifically ran around until the max repel lapsed just to check.

I would have missed my chance the first time I visited (I didn't realize he came back to be caught) if not for the lingering max repel and then flying out to Sootopolis after the initial encounter.

He was only used against the Elite Fours dragon dude, but he wrecked there for obvious reasons. :V

Honestly, it's just the entire package.  The tech trees, the RPG elements, the ability to pew pew aliens, the missions... it's pretty much like it takes everything I liked about Civilization, abstracted out everything I didn't like, and then added some more great features.  I love this game.

Huh. I kept hearing Good Stuff about X-Com, but thought it's more just plain turn-based tacticky strategy. Now I'm interested...
Which X-Com is this and where can I find it?!  :o

How good is the LEGO movie? I might actually have something to do this week, and someone to take.

Even though that's the officially wrong answer, that's pretty much all you can do. By the way, does that test have a question on what to do if a moose attacks your car, or is it the same answer as that one?
