I'd like to think that people who make $9 an hour recognize that it's better to just get together with your friends someplace and drink cheaper beer bought from the store.

I do. Dear god, I do. A shot of something is five dollars at the bar. You can buy a bottle of cheap liquor for EIGHT dollars.
'OK, lets drink five-eighths of this bottle. That should be the equivalent of a shot!'
That reminds me, I just recently got a belated birthday gift of a monogrammed flask from my sister. Any suggestions what to fill it with?
Irn-Bru, if you can find it and have the taste for it.

I say this because after Sunday I'll be unable to obtain a proper variety of it. Which upset me greatly.

Otherwise, I'd say a favourite caffeinated beverage. I couldn't live without caffeinated soda.

I'm currently out of a smartphone whilst mine is fixed.

You'll soon realize how quickly you rely on them.

Played with it all night.  I think the handiest thing will be tethering to my tablet :P

It's impressive just how much I can do with it (Galaxy Note 3).  I'm sure I'll use it a lot for checking web stuff, playing drawception on my lunch breaks, playing music, etc.  But I don't yet buy the hype.  Don't see myself being dependent on it, or wondering how I ever lived without it... yet.  It all still feels like a bunch of fluffy luxury stuffed in alongside a handful of minor functions that our culture now takes for granted enough that my wife got fed up with it and demanded we make the jump.

I LAUGHED AT THIS WITH A MOUTHFUL OF WATER WHICH IS NOW ALL OVER MY OWN DESK

Made me laugh. xD

Also: Our neighborhood Owl made itself known this nice morning. Before the dawn, and then followed by an amazing sunrise. Hooray Snowy.

Just spent a rather pleasant evening playing munchkin with some friends... It was pretty nice. I had introduce them to the game we made a lot of horrible harry potter allusions since two of us were wizards most of the game.

Don't see myself being dependent on it.

I already have a GPS.

Not complaining, though.  I am happy to have it.  They're handy, snazzy devices.

It's kind of depressing, really, just how much the tech industry has invested in them.  This phone has the same screen resolution as your standard desktop monitor.  WHY?!  It feels like development is so heavily focused on these things that everything else is suffering.  Hardware manufacturers very obviously want people to abandon desktops in favor of tablets of phones, and it's really annoying.  They're cool and all... but I'd be much, much happier to see that kind of pixel density on a screen where I do actual work.

Beginning to run my 4th forum game. Since I already got the rules down and a few quests ready, I'm pretty sure that I can keep this running for quite a while.

Not related to her last post, but anyone else think Tiruin (and the way she types) is kind of adorable?

Can't put my finger on exactly what makes it so, but it's there. Adorableing at me.

Eh, I generally get more respect/kindness from her than I expect from the world at large, so that helps.
Don't know if I'd go for 'adorable' though.

I'm glad I can manage to be humerus while being angry at a wet keyboard.

Wait did you get that from RAEG or out of context? I can't believe I got re-posted TWICE (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧*:・゚✧

She's female? God, I need to start a list. I can barely keep track of who's hated by all of tumblr and who's only hated by most of tumblr...
