Until a cute animal can be fed on some form of commercially-produced kibble, I don't consider it a potential pet. This may be entirely a shortcoming of the kibble manufacturers, in which case, a wild business opportunity appears!

I learned today that lasagna is more trouble than it is worth to make, and in the future will just mix more manageable pasta in without bothering with layers. However, the upshot is that I have a week's worth of lasagna now. [Garfield intensifies]

I once got to help hand-feed mealworms to a bat. The mealworms were almost as long as its body but once it got a hold of one end it'd just go in like a branch into a woodchipper (via enthusiastic munching). It could pack away a dozen of them easily. Where do they go?

But because this is the Happy thread, I just started a new pathfinder RPG with some good friends, wherein my character is a completely insane pyromancer who hears the conversation around the table inside his head, and responds to it.
It gets... surreal.
