Well done Japa. Your AGE stat continues to grow, and such you will find foes ever more smiteable.

Only problem is that at level 5, 13, 18 and 25, all of the puzzles jump in difficulty.

The mount quest. Though I suppose there's a cooler type of mount you need to be level 18 to unlock, though most people don't bother with it since it's not very practical.

Hehehe. Yeah, keep thinking that's a perk. It's the base requirement for a lot of nasty compulsory stuff, plus it's got a major gold cost and all sorts of mechanical minutia you have to deal with to keep from getting killed or hit with debuffs. It looks shiny from a distance, but it's less perk than getting hit with something like a mounted subtype, which opens you up to all sorts of vulnerabilities. Sure, there's a mobility boost from it, but that just means you get sent on quests that are further out. And the mount must be fed, too.

Most post-16 "perks" are like that, really. Gain "full human" subtype, suddenly able to be targeted by higher level law spells. Access to the voting questline, also get "taxable" flaw. Etc., so forth, so on. There's perks, but not many cool ones.

True. Most of the perks you get have downsides. Like when you get the "Social Security" perk which gives you free money, but all of your physical stats are reduced by a lot. Or the "College" perk, which increases how much money you earn in the endgame but you have to pay money to unlock it.

Really, once you get past 21 you get more penalties and faults with only a few perks to make up for it. Makes me wish leveling up wasn't mandatory :/

Could be worse. I've heard that your INT starts dropping at 24, and your STR decreases every level from 30.

What do you recommend for making a new character? For race I chose White because people said it was like easy mode, but I don't like the penalty to the Rap and Dancing skills, and wish I had the "N-word" option in dialogue. Spawn location, the United States sounded cool when I first crunched the stats but I'm not sure. Preferred skills, what did you put down? I chose "Music" for one of them but I stopped using it because I realized it's not very useful. In general, the skill balance is bad.

I know, that part sucks. I just wanna know, because I have a friend who's interested in starting.

EDIT: Unless you upgrade to "Hindu" or "Buddhist" membership, then I hear your get to make a new character when yours dies. If you pick Christian, you just get to play around in the "Heaven" server, which I hear sucks.

I've heard rumors that some people are sent to the Hell server instead. Reports vary; some say its eternal torture, but others make it out to be like some sort of resort with an eternal party.

In other news, I had to order a pizza tonight, and it's ordinarily pure happenstance that everybody would agree upon ordering the same thing. Except when three people all simultaneously dialed the same pizza place and tied up the lines, and then had to explain to each other what they really meant when they said the food would be over in forty minutes.

So yeah, miscommunication almost resulted in three pies landing at the same address. I'm almost sad there was no incredulous moment of dawning realization involved in the affair when the delivery guy would've had to explain why he was here with our order in triplicate.
