I got up today at 8:30 and took a walk~  Huzzah for healthier-for-me living habits!

That's a hell of a coincidence - I woke up at 8:30 and took a walk, too. Although in my case I forgot to set an alarm and had an appointment across campus at 9:00 >_________>

I'm doing the next stage of writing a game design document :3

Then it's clear that I must work on game design today, as well. If coincidences aren't signs of some manner of cosmic intent, I don't know what are. It certainly has nothing to do with wanting to do that anyway.

This didn't happen, but it looks like the batshit assumptions I made writing this code I don't understand nevertheless hold up under sanity testing. Given an arbitrary cubic Bezier curve's control points, I think I can now obtain its actual x and y ranges*. Yesssss. Now that I've got that particular bit of madness committed to file, maybe I'll be able to focus on the things I really should be doing? We'll see.

*It finally occurred to me that since these are parametric things, its domain doesn't have shit to do with x coordinates

I finished most of the rudimentary mechanical design, final development on basic character concepts, and the most basic plot outline!  I'm proud of myself >_<

And I'm envious, in that way that inspires me to actually try and be that way instead of just idly wishing I were. New rule: Bauglir doesn't sleep until gameplay is revised at least once. Also I mentioned this before but the Revengeance soundtrack is just so damn good for creating things to. I don't know why.

Being unemployed means that you can put in a 9-hour day on your design stuff, no sweat ._.  I'm in the middle of dealing with dynamic storytelling options and the rest of the main plot, which will either be largely taken care of tomorrow or keep me stymied for three months.

Now I can take a break for a TV show and get back to work on the real-world things I need to do tonight... hopefully be able to work on updating my forum game that's been in imperishable night for like a month now ._.
