I've been invited to join a game of D&D that I have been told might actually last more than one night and have some sort of actual development beyond "Roll to joke" so you know, might be fun.

So I made Max's Manly Chilli, and man it was good. I added a red and green bell pepper, as well as a pound of bacon, and only put one can of beans in. Ten out of ten, would cook again. Not for a while though, as I've got enough leftovers to last a week. It's a lot of chilli for one guy.
^_^ Yeah, it is a lot of chili. Enough to feed 8 or so people, depending on size of bowl and appetite.

I was really pleasantly surprised with my new classes today (first week of the second semester, so...).

After a painfully boring lecture held by the guy in charge of Physics lab, I've been expecting the worst from the lectures. But what do you know, the lecturer turned out to be pretty cool, with a sense of humor, and instead of making it dry and theoretical, he used various tricks to illustrate his points.

Then we had Bioethics, which turned out to be held in English by a German philosopher who, aside from being a really damn good speaker, is a... well, let's put it that way: one of the books he's published is titled 'Star Trek and Philosophy'.

No, the original title (and likely release) is German. Dude's name is Greg Becker if you really want to google him.

I'm seriously thinking about Rickrolling someone by setting a GIF of Rick Astley to be the wallpaper of one of the desktops in the computer lab. Makes me giddy thinking about it (for some reason).

Yeah, that's the guy.

All the 'j's are pronounced like 'y', so it's kinda pronounced like 'yuck-yellow-nyan'.

I've been heavily tempted to do that just after posting that.

So there's much hype surrounding Awesomenauts recently, specifically about the Starstorm expansion (which is in development and on Early Access right now) and the soon-to-be-released Foxynaut voiced by Dodger.
Let's just say that the thread we're brainstorming in was immortalized by one of our forum artists (with avatars of everyone who posted in there) and I am the green Chinese girl in the front.

Guess why I have a new avatar now?
