As for browsers, I prefer firefox still, but I've heard good things about Comodo Dragon.

I hate macs. I've been using one for like 4-5 years now. I owned a windows computer for way longer than that though and I have to say that there ARE tiny little details that I like better than Windows when it comes to UI and file management (stuff is easier to find most of the time), plus the computer is only one piece rather than drive and screen separate which is nice when you have to lug it, but compatibility bullshit and massive cooling issues whenever you're running anything more demanding on your processor than excel totally negates that shit. Completely irredeemable.

Its super great for browsing and working and typing and whatnot, but when it comes to games? FUCK YOU MAC. I CAN'T PLAY ANYTHING. EVEN THE FREE THINGS. ESPECIALLY THE FREE THINGS. FUUUUUUUUUUCK.

From the Among the Sleep people? They seem to be quite good at this kind of thing. The lighting effect they did towards the end was absolutely gorgeous.
