By the time I hit vegas, I was in a pre war business suit and a cowboy hat, carrying that other, better revolver with an engraved chamber and EVE or whatever it's name was who was that robot, so I think I was plenty off normal at that point.

I can't remember how many times I had died at that point.

I don't mind the pearl grips on pistols.
A little tacky, but they look nice in the right places.

The pearl grips weren't the gaudy part, that was the freaking ZEBRA STRIPES or whatever that was.

Also, am I the only one who grabbed Rad Child, Adamantium Skeleton and one of those bladed fists and went full Wolverine? :P

Hunting rifle? Bullshit. Upgrade to the trail carbine after it stops being useful. Then to the brush gun. With cowboy perk, alternate ammo from hand loader and good skill all the lever guns are stupidly powerful.

Hunting rifle is weaksauce shit for washed up NCR snipers and drug addicts.

You know, I've always favoured the hunting rifle over the trail carbine - I preferred saving my 44 ammo for my revolver. Fond memories of it from Fallout 3, I guess. And I've never found it particularly weaksauce, no matter your peculiarly strong feelings on the topic. But then, Hunting rifle beats the trail carbine in pure damage (Although the carbine's DPS is higher) and since I pretty much always take my time on shots over DPS, the hunting rifle works nicely for me. So, y'know, different strokes for different folks.

Strangely, I haven't found a trail carbine in my cowboy playthrough. Which is really weird.

What's wrong with using magma? That's almost always the easiest method.
I have issues channeling it properly to do that method. I end up flooding the fortress with magma.

Huh. If you're having trouble finding the trail carbine in a recent run there's a guaranteed one on a Viper leader in bonnie springs. Also a good place to grab combat armor.

Also my strong feelings mainly come from the fact that the hunting rifle feels like a waste of .308. Considering when you're set up right the carbine does more damage per shot, has a much larger magazine and the ammo is ever so slightly easier to find in large amounts. And I don't really get why someone would use the hunting rifle anyway when there's a free unowned sniper rifle in Camp Mcarran.

It took me some time to realize ya'll were talking about a game and not about real guns.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

While it was about a game pearl grips are still gaudy bullshit.

You know what's more classy than pearl grips on a gun? Syphilis.

I know which I'd rather have, class or no.

But I always preferred the All-American. Basically a 5.56mm DMR. Good for everything at a shorter range than what the Anti-Materiel can handle.

Today was a rather good day. It was "global day" at school, which basically means that we got some exotic workshops and some explanation about charities and so. Also there were noodles and stuff and an African band (although I didn't actually see them properly) in the lunch break. I'm in the student council so I got to help out with guiding the people who were doing the workshops to their rooms because they obviously don't know where they are, and I spent an hour shoveling noodles into cups (which wasn't that bad). We also got one room for ourselves and there was chips and candy and drinks and we filled the blackboard up entirely (one guy even made an awesome drawing from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.)

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

To whoever posted the animal times table, thank you for the strategy guide to Impossible Creatures. :P

I've been feeling rather terrible lately being confined to my room a lot. I woke up today super late and I was / am feeling pretty ill. Nonetheless, I went to the gym and now feel much better :)
