That prerelease was the most fun I've ever had at a Magic event. I had a fun deck, lots of incredibly tense, hand-trembling matches, and a couple of opportunities to do nice things for other players, hopefully without coming off as condescending (seriously when losing an incredibly close match is the difference between 0 and 9 packs, I think it was okay to share).

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Pretty sad today but pretty balanced out due to that one webcomic I've been reading ever since one of you guys posting it here (I think it was Frumple?).

Cucumber Quest is awesome. Colors are awesome. And the writing. And the faces. xD

Just had a funny thought: Tomorrow is Superbowl night, and Groundhog Day. What if an infinite time-loop were to occur?

Fuck you Budweiser. Yes, this made me happy today. Extremely happy.
I hate beer. Tastes disgusting to me.

I specifically hate the Anheuser-Busch brewing company for reasons that I won't go into, but I'm pretty okay with beer in general. :P I usually prefer mix drinks though.

Not ALL American beer sucks completely. :P Just the vast, overwhelming majority of it.

Atheist nun.

Best insult ever.
Those comments are right: What would an atheist nun dress like? What would they do?

Can I be a Priest of Agnosticism?

Pretty please?

You can ordain yourself if you like: You aren't beholden to any higher authority after all.

Or if you like you can get officially ordained by a online non-denominational church and then declare yourself whatever. Then you get to issue marriage licenses and officiate and such.

Evangelize? Or just officiate things and walk around with sweet clothes while putting "Official minister of Agnosticism" on your resume.
