I passed my Math exam. Not the best mark (the second to lowest passing, about 65%), but with one of the test problems being unsolveable for our level of skill, it's still great.

Figured it was time to get my stitches out... Do you even know how good it feels to get those out? I'm not even sure how I survived the last week now, aparently it must have been in a constant state of irritation and I never even knew! I can stretch my chest without pain again!
Stitches are a pain in the ass. I have the scars to prove it.

Early in the morning I felt like listening some "Guile's theme" on youtube and eventually it got stuck in my head. So today I've decided it's "Guile's theme" day.

It has been sporadically turning on and off in my head. Kept me entertained, happy and all in all in high spirits.

So later in the forenoon I've decide to watch a movie I've basically known about ever since it was made, but never seen it. I've watched trailer when it was about to come out, dammit.
So this movie was Street Fighter from 1994.

And you know what.
I don't care how much it differs from it's source work.
I was honestly, without hint of doubt, with my mind and body NOT being subjected to any sort of drug(s) - having a BLAST.
It was one of more entertaining movies I've seen in a while.
Back when action movies were just awesome. Pure, refined, silly, awesome action. When it made sense to be called action movies.
Where good guys beat bad guys, where both good and bad guys throw witty one-liners at each other, where things are sometimes there just for the sake of being there or sometimes even don't make any sense at all AND THAT MAKES SENSE, LIKE, TOTALLY, where you have a bit of drama, a bit of bad-guys-turning-good, where you have smexy dudes and smexy bewbs, flying kicks, armpit-smelling punches, crazy battle-cries-while-doing-crazy-jumps... and you have JCVD.

I'm effin buying DVD. Heck, a Blue-ray. This is just genius piece of cinematic artwork and it deserves a place next to the likes of Robocop, Snatch, Crank 1&2 and Dredd.

Funny, I just watched Dredd and then the Stallone Judge Dredd. I like what they were doing with Dredd (2012) but Judge Dredd (1995) has a better city and wackier funtime action.

Consider adding Demolition Man to your shelf.

Street Fighter from 1994.
"For me it was Tuesday." Quite possibly the best line ever delivered.

Edit: Freaking fixed my broken quote tag.

Oh yeah, Raul Julia, the only person involved to realize he's in an awful, awful movie and have fun with that.

Couldn't agree more. I still like Dredd 2012 the best. :3

That feeling when you have half a gallon of cheeseburger curry - and that's what you couldn't fit into your tupperware.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I don't know why, but specifically when I sit down to eat Indian food I think "I am going to turn this into poop." No other food elicits that train of thought.
