We have Jam over here, instead. It's like marmalade, minus the peel (why would you eat orange peel? Eww). Also, we tend to use berries instead of citrus fruits, but citrus jams do exist.

... states got plenty of marmalade. It's not eaten very often, from what I've seen, but s'far as I've noticed it's pretty easy to get.

Haven't had terribly much myself... not too fond of the texture, iirc. But I have had some, both store bought and home made.

And yeah, we also have jam. And jelly! And I guess preserves are something different? I'unno. It's all bread covering t'me, mostly.

Man, I only eat jam with fruit bits... I go out once every month or so for a jar of marmalade and a jar of something else (recently raspberry or blackberry).
