Ah, the glorious downward spiral of teen celebrities who never had a Praetorian aide to whisper in their ear, "Remember, popstar, thou art subject to the law."
That made me laugh.
xD
Ahh, yes. The guardian conscience. The shadow of any real good popularity (used as a noun).
...Why don't most of those today have them. :/

There's stories about how Roman leaders like Caesar used to have aides that would walk with them through the parades in their honor, whispering in their ear, "Remember you are but a man. You are mortal." And suchlike. To keep 'em honest.

...Ok, a bit of remembrance, but that really really reminded me of how TES guardsmen play out. They're honest to a fault, and love their people, upholding 'the law above all' fact. And they also point out the note on 'when I'm speaking to a citizen like you, it reminds me what I fight for...' That's the touching part. Sincerity (though generic xD, still makes sense in context given the production costs and voice-acting thing, as well as specialization of character)

Oh, and the monologous deep-set voice. That sets it in for me.

Well, I got one of my stories accepted into a publication.
Which is great news.

The bad news is that it was a certain kind of story, going into a certain kind of publication.
I feel like a writer in the same way that I'm sure a few women feel like 'actresses'.
Erotica or Romance novel?

Somehow I feel like Rachel McAdams doesn't get the "actress" vibe from her work in The Notebook.
So yes, assume the former.

... this makes me question if you've actually read much in the way of romance novels :P

Haven't actually read through many myself, but I've skimmed fairly often as part of library work or whatev', just to see about contents and whatnot and... sheesh. It gets pretty sketchy. S'honestly almost strange, how little attention it gets given how bloody huge the market is.

E: Though on further consideration, I can see why people wouldn't want to think too hard about their mother and/or grandmother (primary demographic for romance novels is 30-ish to 50-ish, apparently) regularly reading the published equivalent to lemons.

Erotica appears to be having an upswing ever since 50 shades of gray.

And yet no one appreciates my Star Wars/Pokémon/Loony Tunes/Transformers crossover erotica.

Frozen is pretty darn good. It has an interesting twist on the classic Disney plot bot otherwise is the same, but it is compelling. The part I liked best was

There's a cute little chibi Shimakaze walking around Rozy's desktop. Totally useless and stupid but this is still the best thing.

I think I found something like that once. I ended up with lots of Cirnos walking around, climbing up the sides of the screen and falling asleep everywhere.

There was another desktop thingy I had which spawned Lemmings who could walk over the top of windows, build bridges, dig and all the usual Lemming things.

The spoiler was about the very beginning of the movie and the effects in that part. No actual spoilers, I don't know why she put it in one.

Frozen was awesome, and also friggin hilarious.

On a completely unrelated note,

Also, the arts and flavor texts in Born of the Gods are awesome. I want a foil copy of everything.
