Had my internet knocked out for the better part of the day. Spent it playing some classic SNES until it returned.

I just got a Wii U as a late gift.

I am so happy. Setting it up was a pain (Nintendo's servers are down) but New Super Mario Bros. Wii U was fun.

Get Monster Hunter 3 U as soon as possible.

I just finished watching The Singing Detective--it's an old BBC serial, a handful of hour long episodes, and it's a bloody masterpiece. I'm talking about the '80s mini-series, not what was apparently a remake in 2003, if anyone looks it up. I'd heartily recommend that, by the by. I can't really do it justice in words, but I will say that it's one of perhaps three things I've watched in the past year that at no point lost my interest.

For the love of god this. You're wasting the potential of your WiiU massively if you don't. Hell it's the only game I'd personally get a WiiU for, though I already have the 3ds version and MH4 is gonna be 3ds exclusive apparently.

I'm probably going to buy a Wii U just to play Pikmin 3.

This was 90% of the reason one of the reasons I was saving up for a Wii U. I heard they removed the Piklopeida, but other than that it looks good.

I'll probably be buying it tomorrow.

Stumbled across this, expecting disappointment. Turned out I wasn't disappointed.

Got the results from a test back today I did for a university in exchange for a lunch.
Turns out I score within the highest .5% of people1 2 3! So that is a nice ego boost, as if I needed one...

1 Within my state, rather than from a global pool.
2 On a test that seemed to be bias towards logic and graphical mathematics, both things I kinda like.
3 If you even believe in the legitimacy of these things anyway, and lets face it, there is a lot you can't really test in a three hour session.
