You're... noticeable. That's not inherently good or bad :P

Good if you're looking to pick up dudes/chicks though.

4e is very good at what it was designed for; simulating fantasy combat in a fun, streamlined, and easily accessible way. As a game, though, it really isn't concerned with anything beyond combat, nor does it handle those things in a comprehensive way. I for one really miss the survival and weather elements present in earlier editions, the diplomatic and skill-oriented focus found in other game systems, and the general breadth and depth of the simulation itself. That said, I think 4e is one of the premier cinematic fantasy combat RPGs out there... and to say otherwise would be disingenuous.

I had the same "problem," and I'm pretty sure it was just caused by being outgoing and expressing interest in others.

Well, if that's all it takes, there goes all my chances. #introvert #foreveralone #idontevencare #whyamiusingthesehashtags #ohrightsarcasm #lol

In happy news, I've been able to balance myself between playing video games for enjoyable amounts of time and jamming on guitar. Guess who's being a hopeless dweeb and learning the MLP:FiM theme song on guitar by reading the sheet music. Also been jamming some Deftones with tabs. Ha, I actually feel accomplished and competent at guitar. I'm actually satisfied with myself, weird.

4e holds a special place in my heart because it was my first tabletop game and what my first gaming group focused on. Problem was, when we threw a quick character together for me to use we accidentally used a 3.5 generator, and thus my paladin could only hit things with his warhammer and be a wall.

It wasn't until we hit level 10 and everyone started on their Paragon classes that the mistake was realized, and I got to remake my paladin for 4e. Not only did his stats get better, but he gained all sorts of awesome powers and abilities that made him a star member of the team (where, again, previously all he could really do was tank).

I've since played and enjoyed 3.5, and I've read up on other systems that look fun. But I will never forget 4e.

Not sure that I like how it looks squashed down into the size limit, but I'll keep it for a while.

I actually quite liked how 4E focused on combat rules. Since it meant you could keep the set dressing to roleplay, and do those challenge things when it mattered.

Also if I remembered right it suggested taking up healing surges and stuff for travel accidents and fatigue, which was a pretty good idea.

I've played a few different games. AD&D, 3.5, Pathfinder, and Anima. But not 4e.

I wouldn't mind giving it a try sometime. But most of our books are for Pathfinder, so that's what gets played the most.

I'm terrible when it comes to actual role-playing though.
