I had the same "problem," and I'm pretty sure it was just caused by being outgoing and expressing interest in others.


The main barrier to getting dates/flings/etc is having other people know you exist and that you're available. Doesn't matter who you are, someone out there (often multiple someones) want a piece of that.

Generally if you look at all conventionally attractive in any way people are gonna show interest, assuming you don't look like you're going to scream if they try talking to you.

On the other side of the coin people seem to think I look like a zombie. And like they'll scream if I talk to them. Which makes me glad that I'm married I guess but it kind of makes finding extramarital relationships a little difficult.

Reason I'm posting though, I've started to take learning Japanese seriously. And I think I'm making some slow progress, which is way more than I thought I'd be capable of given how much knocks to the head I've taken.

And yes 4e is great, despite how some really noisy people seemed angry at it.
