How... How are your hands still... well, hands?

Well, for one, they weren't all at once, second, most of the burns(like 95% are from scale, which are paper thin bits of white hot pain. They land on your skin, and give you minor burns. The rest were minor burns, only raising blisters. The charred thumb was from having a red hot bit of metal brush it. Literally left scorch marks. So, really, the reason my hands are still hands is because I don't fuck up that much anymore. But we can go with the metal hands thing.
