The power I have at my fingers as a programmer. With a programs that I can write in less then a day I can do things that would have taken the lifetimes of geniuses a few hundred years ago in minutes or even seconds. I can search every word in every language, and categorize and filter them by whatever criteria I want. I can create perfect branching fractals down a dozen levels of complexity, drawn and computed in seconds. I can make things using calculations so numerous that it would take hours for a human to calculate, and have them run a hundred times a second as part of a game.

Yup. This is why I keep saying we programmers are wizards. We dedicate our lives to studying arcane knowledge and unspoken languages. Then, depending on your field, you use it to imbue artifacts with intelligence, build universes, build golems, acquire more knowledge, and do stuff so crazy it doesn't even exist in myth.

New bed! I really needed one. And this is by far the nicest mattress I've ever owned. Though, I used to have a bed with a bunch of cabinets and drawers underneath which was really high off the floor, which was cool. But the mattress sucked. You would not believe how bad it got before I got another second hand. Virtually all the springs in the middle of it were broken and it was riddled with holes (huge holes) that had spiky broken springs sticking out of it. I swear that thing could have killed me. But $$$.

But I digress...

Early Christmas present because of delivery restrictions.

-snip-...He ended up on a fluid IV pump for most of that to treat severe dehydration. When the lab results came back from the tests on him, the nurse used a delightful euphemism, saying that "if you had waited until the weekend to bring him in, there would have been a negative patient health outcome".

He was feeling better this morning and basically described yesterday as a long sequence of sensory deprivation and hallucinations. One of the better ones involved the entire hospital parking lot being covered in chicken bones, because someone had left a few on the ground and all of the dead leaves started looking just like them.

 :-\
Oh man, I know this.
I had some horrible problems with dehydration as a kid, it's not fun in the least.
And sometimes, it doesn't even feel like you're dehydrated, because after a while your body just gets used to not having enough water, so you think it must be something else causing it.
I'm glad he got better, though.

I was 99.3rd percentile on the SAT.

Everyone at school knew because my math teacher asked me how well I did and he started doing things like calling my brother "2120's brother" when I told him :P

But yeah, it does make you feel bad. A lot of my friends worked really hard in school while I just kinda didn't. One such friend asked me how I did and she sounded... downtrodden at my results.

I got 2300 on my SATs.  At my high school, that was "maybe acceptable."  LOL.

I don't think we had SATs here. We had this weird exam at the end of highschool meant to supplement or replace our standard scores if we mysteriously became ill or died called the 'GAT' - while i scored quite poorly on my normal highschool exams, my GAT was in the 95th percentile - something like 35-38/40 for most areas.
!!!
My SAT scores come out two days from now! So nervous D:

I got a D in Calculus 1.

This is a happy because I don't have to immediately re-take that bastard of a class next semester.

Also I pulled an A out of what I thought was going to be a B, tops.

Which means I'm off academic probation.

This semester is actually turning out well :o
