I build & fly things like that for a living... and would just like to point out that not only is that blatantly illegal per FAA regulations, but there are also major safety concerns with multirotors flying those distances, plus landing with any accuracy. Not to mention the fact that for delivery like that to be feasible, the drones have to be much bigger and dangerous than the one in the video.

Tl;Dr Don't get all worked up. It'll be a while before this ever becomes a reality. Amazon did it as a proof-of-concept.

It's true. We've had drones for quite some time - i remember there being a documentary about farmers buying drones to police their farms to make sure people aren't trespassing in the outback.
