From this we can conclude not all happies are created equal.

And we hold this truth to be self-evident.
I would say that all happies are created equal, but some are more equal then others.

Ooh! Knowledge drop!

Did you guys know there's an island off the coast of NZ (New Zealand) which was discovered by the Maoris (New Zealand Natives) about ~50 years before settlers turned up. There was an indigenous race there, however the Maoris slaughtered many, enslaved more and instituted a policy wherein they weren't allowed to breed with eachother, only with Maoris.
By the time the settlers turned up and had their 'Oh, well this is a little uncouth, isn't it chaps?' there was no full-breed members of that race left.

It's actually the only time a genocide has successfully been undertaken (Or at least in the last 10 million years, depending on your beliefs).

So that's interesting! And I'm happy about facts! So Hooray Genocide!

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I've had more days off this past week than I had for most of November. Including today. Seriously, what sorcery?

But pretty much the same result faced the Tasmanian Aborigines after their genocide. That kind of thing is pretty common.

So why not send Bibles into space? We have the technology. We have the printing presses. I would love to see mountains of Bibles on the Moon. I want to see lakes of Bibles on Mars. We could ring Saturn with golden bound Bibles that shimmer in the sunlight, testifying to His wisdom and His Glory. I want deep space probes that explode with Bibles in distant star systems and giant tablets that tell the universe of America’s dedication to God!
The description is beautiful for a reason I'm not entirely sure. Also funny.

I was going to post that in the Amazingly Stupid Things thread (as I find that sort of thing amazingly stupid), but then I remembered that we no longer have one :P

Actually I really agree with the aim of that. A better space program can only help humanity, even if the goal is sending tens of thousands of bibles out across the universe. Plus it would be hillarious.

Because the solution to not being able to control your dakka is MOAR DAKKA.

That's it. We've finally crossed over and become the nation of Da Orky Boyz.

But whoever that was that wants Bibles everywhere is probably also against stuff like Curiosity and Voyager because "they don't spread da word of GAWD!!!!!1!!". They don't want a better space program, they just want conversions :/
