My dad has (I think, low quality image...) birds like that. One of them ate/slaughtered the young of the others. Was pretty gruesome to see his bloody head afterwards.

Nice. Love the first one, just the right shade if purple to look nice without being gaudy.

EDIT: Realized it maaaaay not be purple... Probably scarlet or rogue.

The pictures got a bit weird lighting. The first pair is indeed purple, pretty dark purple. The second pair is a bit darker than they appear in the picture. (bright red, not that washed out red they appear in the picture.)

EDIT: Both pairs are 12cm of heely goodness, highest pairs I've ever walked in and damn I feel good in 'em
