I don't actually have any words left for how happy and relieved I am--to finally be closing the chapter of my life I'm leaving, and with the treasured events of this new story.  It feels like all my internal gauges have shattered.

I present to you that collection of short stories I mentioned a while back, "Humanity, Fuck Yeah!"

You should see the new ones /tg/'s made. Basically they got sick of the hfy threads devolving into wankboxes and inferiority complexes being prized, so they started writing about what makes humans humans from an alien's perspective. The result was more endearing and awesome than most of its predecessors.

Also interesting is that tumblr has recently discovered hfy, but are also making the same mistakes /tg/ made. Give it a year or 3, and it'd be interesting to see what they come up with.

Oh yeah, and humans are classed as megafauna on Earth. How about that.
