Magi-tech's always cool. For some reason it's almost always gnomes that end up having it in our settings. Either that or they're steam-punk. No other race ever gets those two themes, for some reason.

Once had an all-out brawl with gnomes in powered mechs downing entire legions of goblins.

I miss my gunslinger, he was almost as broken as a ninja Fetchling necromancer.

Oh it'd almost certainly be by playing as a necromancer "evil" guy, using the undead as a workforce and also civilization base.

You die? Welp, we resurrect you and plant you in a modern civilization with all the amenities. Literally heaven on Earth (comparatively).

I've seen steampunkish dwarves. Of course, the source left something to be desired.

I still want to play a table-top as a magician/scientist/lich-wannabe who's looking to take over the world so that he can get more books.

So like DF Adventure mode, but with dice? :V

My friends ran an evil campaign in Pathfinder once. So much eye-gouging.
I would love to play some sort of DF Adventure mode table top game. Especially if we were able to do things that are mentioned as planned features and the world included some of the things mentioned in Threetoe's stories.

Coconut oil makes for an interesting butter substitute in oatmeal. Add in dried fruit for tasty/awesome breakfast.

The job, it is mine!

Now just going through all the paperwork to hash out changing my job code and pay rate.
It is both exhilarating and terrifying. But mostly exhilarating. :)

A short-term job opportunity just jumped into my lap like an Asian river carp. My mandatory volunteer service ends next semester, but my supervisor offered me a paying position... doing the exact same thing, which is pretty much the easiest job in the world, at least in comparison to other places I've worked and volunteered. Get chance and luck!  :)

I went to the library today, and picked up an Anatomy text (a For Dummies edition), put a Neuroscience for Dummies book on hold, and picked up a sewing guide.

... I swear they're not related, guys.

If you were a real dwarf, they would be. You must be some sort of elf. Or a goblin.

Seriously, though, if you make a frankenstein-style monster, tell us.

Was supposed to go on vacation last Friday, but was sick instead. Ended up calling in sick on Monday too. My boss was awesome and has decided not to deduct those days from either my vacation or sick time!

Well, okay. I'll see if I can tell you between the crazed laughter upon him coming to life, and the dying from fire in the windmill. Busy schedule, you know.

THAT'S RACIST

Quote
Temperature in Alberta in mid-July: 73F / 23C
Temperature here on Thursday (mid-October): 81F / 27C

Although admittedly, Grandfather Mountain is considerably cooler than the lowlands. Average July highs are 69F (although at the base of the mountain it's probably 5-10 degrees hotter).

That's about as cold as where I live, though I remember this summer it rose upwards of 25, coming up for 30 degrees Celsius. I think that's 86 degrees Fahrenheit.

I feel much Mel Brooks coming on when I read things like that.
