Listening to Eurobeat on Pandora, and the lovely, dark cantabile of the Pacific Rim soundtrack, and translating poetry.

I feel really happy and satisfied today.  I totally recharged this weekend and I'm feeling great!

Despite the government shutdown the people in charge of where my brother is doing his training are slow enough in doing things that he will be able to complete his training, and I got to go to see him this weekend with my mom and sister.  Now we are on the six hour car ride home, and I'm actually getting stuff done.  I've got some of those hour long youtube videos with a collection of songs playing (right now it's a bunch of orchestral/choir music from the Soviet Union), and I've already finished my chemistry essay due tomorrow, I've gotten a good half of my French essay done, and I've got the outline for my lab report due Wednesday. 
Nothing like a bunch of songs whose words you can't understand to cure procrastination.  Also the urge to not run out of laptop power helps too.
