Speaking from personal experience, goats are not nice people. Let's just say that there's a reason that the Abrahamic religious tradition personifies the devil with goat-like physical features. The only good part about them is that they don't have enough teeth to bite you (or your clothing, or things you leave lying around) very well, so they're reduced to gumming. Of course, small goats are somewhat better, as they can't do much beyond chewing on your pants and bruising your legs. The larger breeds can be taller than an adult human and are easily strong enough to knock you over, and quite a few will do so just for goat giggles.


Long story short taking care of goats is terrible. Donkeys are much better, I was only kicked once in two years.

Friend and I just spent half an hour writing plots for my brand new never-to-be-published webcomic, Gotham Days, detailing the tribulations of ordinary citizens of Gotham City as they live with insanity-based crime and Batman-related incidents.  Like the transit mechanic who has to buff out man-shaped dents in the subway cars, the emergency clinic doctor with a drawer full of slightly used batarangs, the last art collector in the city who dreams of keeping a museum open more than three days, and the many many criminals left so disfigured and braindead from being karate-clobbered into submission that petty crime is their only avenue of employment.

I'm totally cool with this never happening, it provided all the entertainment I need already.

The idea just kinda came to me when I thought about the life-cycle of a typical Gotham street thug, who seem to exist in endless supply.

Grow up in the poorest, most crime-ridden city in Comicbook America.
Become petty gang criminal as is statistically likely.
Get head bashed in by Batman and left for the police to pick up.
Spend six months in Blackgate before mass-release due to overcrowding.
Try to move up in the world by joining villain gang through inmate contacts.
Get head bashed in by Batman and left for the major crimes department to pick up.
Spend six months in Arkham before escaping in yearly riot.
Try to move up in the imaginary world by joining Joker's gang, because you can't tell left from right anymore.
Get head bashed in by Batman and left for Killer Crock to eat.
Become supervillain upon realizing that Batman is the only consistent thread in your shitty life.

I can't decide if it should be a treatise on the urban crime spiral, a darkly comic look at the logical conclusions of Batman's problem solving style, or an absurdity play on the origins of masked criminals.  Obviously, all of the above.
