I've had Nikopol stuck in my head all day. It's a pleasant sensation.
This is cool. Oh man this is so awesome. I'm now browsing even more awesome music via related youtube videos, including Pacific Rim. Small world.

Wooo musical youtube journey!

In case you haven't seen it, watch Pan's Labyrinth. It's awesome and you'll understand why the movie snobs are less enthusiastic about Pacific Rim.

I walked the equivalent of 32km a week for about two years before moving to the place before where I live now. It was fun and I kind of miss it.

I don't know how people get by without subtitles. Like hell I'm gonna let someone's meaning get lost in background noise, muttering, pronunciation, or dialect. Hearing it is good. Reading it is good. Why not both?
I know some people who only watch movies that are dubbed or in a language they understand well enough to get by without subtitles, mostly because they're not used to it and find it distracting. Which is kinda stupid if you don't speak Spanish because Pan's Labyrinth was not dubbed into German AFAIK, so they miss out.

I don't know, actually.  This is ... kind of just how I experience media.
If all else fails, consider a career in media analysis/criticism. That was a pretty in-depth analysis of something I might have written off as Transformers vs Godzilla. ;)

You say this suspiciously like it's a bad thing.

The solution is to "ROW ROW, FIGHT THE POWAH." Because that song was in my head all night :(

Pale man is easily one of my favorite movie monsters simply for the brilliant and innovative monster design. It's just uncannily creepy without going especially overboard.

Well, Michael Bay's poor excuse for CGI explosions type of movies are not my thing. So if it was that, I would indeed consider it bad.

I was referring to the idea of it, not how Transformers have been done recently.

Giant Robots vs. Giant Monsters sounds awesome.
