I just finished watching The Iron Giant for the very first time.  I think that's the most I've cried at any film, ever... so good.

I know, but freeform RP isn't really as common anymore. Though, Twilight Academy does have rolls, the players are just rather lackadaisical about it.

I concur, the first time I watched it I was moved. And I did not have great expectations of the movie, so it was a very pleasant surprise.

This is just about the nicest thing a client has said to me... it pays to do your homework! Apparently, they didn't know that the Red Cross symbol was copyrighted, and when I explained why I'd drawn their Medic Pack powerup with a Caduceus instead (yes it's the symbol of merchants and not healers, but American Hospitals use the symbol anyway), it apparently impressed them. So much that I beat about 20 other talented artists with far larger work histories.

Not only are they paying pretty well, if this project works out I might have a permanent spot on a small but successful indie Development Team! Hells yes!

Well seeing as I've been in kind of a really bad mood the past few days because of how I've been deciding to watch my language and cut back on the carbohydrates and caffeine in my diet I've decided that in order to cheer myself up I am allowing myself to through caution to the wind and engage in some good old-fashioned gluttony and dietary hedonism tonight by gorging myself on corn dogs and energy drinks.

It's a Sunday tradition for me to pig out and spend the night playing video games anyways so I think it's alright to do this thing that makes me happy as long as I cut back for the rest of the week. Plus I plan on walking about four to eight miles to and from a hardware store in search of shower curtains tomorrow and maybe Tuesday anyways so I think I'll be fine. I look forward to that walk actually seeing as I haven't been out that way before and I'm kind of developing a state of wanderlust that itself will be sated by going out of my comfort zone and gorging on the sights, sounds and sensory input of a place I've never been before.

So, it turns out that telling me I can have whatever I want on my sub is a bad idea. Pastrami, ham, turkey, pepperoni, salami, pepper jack cheese, three different kinds of cheddar, mozzarella, mayo and mustard. I am very full, and very satisfied.
