How many wounds does it regenerate per turn? Also I assume all dice are d6?

For every wound under it's maximum, it rolls a D6. On a 5 or 6, it regenerates that wound. Basically, the thing is damn near unkillable without heavy antitank weaponry in large quantities.

I play the space communists Tau, mostly. I don't have the new codex or any of the new units, but I still have a fairly respectable force.

Tau have badass guns, but if I were to get within gribblies range... Seriously unpleasant shit would happen to you. It would be a very fun battle, methinks.

Tabletop is eighty percent exploiting your army's cheese, ten percent balls of steel, ten percent pure luck.

For example: Four gaunts of mine charged five space marines. One gaunt killed TWO of them, then managed to escape and rejoin my main force. For note, gaunts have the shittiest armor save in the game, and Space Marines have some of the very best. And the Space Marines are stronger, tougher, and just as fast. So. Yeah.
