It doesn't belong here. At all. This thread is for sharing the things, little and big that make us happy. And if something just undermines that concept then I'm sorry, not only doesn't the post not belong but there's a good chance you missed the point of this topic and you don't belong in it either.

We're pretty clearly offending a lot of people, here, and I'd say offense is pretty fuckin' justified. Vector is not alone in being upset by some of the language here. But trying to argue about this is demonstrably against the rules here. So please, drop it. If you really want to debate the social context surrounding the word, here you go.

In like 7 hours, I'm going to take a long drive with some friends to Washington DC. This is exciting.

I'm about to go watch a documentary on either ballet or fonts, and finish off the last part of my origami gifts.  Get my room clean.  Then I might read a little.  Due to aforementioned transportation and shower difficulties, I'm going to be able to have a quiet day at home instead of taking a madcap dash off to Berkeley to run around doing errands.  That stuff can be taken care of tomorrow.

Also, this is kind of fun to listen to.

Actually cleaned my home today, except for vacuuming, which is somewhat hampered by the fact that I don't have a vacuum.

Simple physical labor puts me in an almost trance-like state sometimes. No idea why.

Well, if I've slept all day and am not actually tired-- like yesterday and now-- I'll take advantage of everyone else being asleep to fully immerse myself in The Last of Us. (I had stalled on my story playthrough, so I'm fixing that.)

If I've been up for hours and am tired and falling asleep, I'd probably play Black Ops 2. Yeah, I know it's bad.
The thing is, I play better at that when asleep. Go figure.

Well the rough outlines are done, now I'll need to get into the nitty gritty and slow down the pace again to develop the events a bit. Should have some rough storyboard and concept pieces tomorrow.

Also having pizza for some reason (my dad has a bit of a sweet tooth in that he doesn't mind splurging for food he feels like eating) and after that it will hopefully be cool enough outside for me to take a bike ride.
