Basically, the first part was ... an evidently out dated cold war reference .... Think of a friendly daily sports competition between two friends where both of them try very hard to beat one another. Prosecution and Defense.... At least that's the relationship I have with this one.... It's actually somewhat nice in a way and surprisingly productive/efficient.

Didn't get somebody to say please in this instance though that would be lovely if it happened. I'm sorta hoping this client makes good on her threat to me that she'll hire another lawyer (impliedly, she's not satisfied, because the world is not full of puppies and rainbows for her and she's threatening to replace me. I wish she would.).

The happy being that I have a good relationship with this prosecutor.

After reading his wikipedia page, I realised a fair bit of the stuff in that is references.

We was arrested for suspected possession of drugs and illegal firearms (hence the gun and cocaine), and has (or had) a 17 year old girlfriend, hence all the young women.

This is better than I previously imagined.
