My fiancee and I are heading in to hopefully pick up a car for me tomorrow.

I'm still paying on student loans and we're going to have to get some financing for the loan, but we make enough that we can pay all of our loans and bills and a potential car payment and still have a nice chunk saved back.

I've never been more eager to give away a large sum of money.

I just absolutely crushed a sandbox game of Tropico 4 (Modern Times). Had over $4 million in the treasury at the end of the game, after quickbuilding 4 ziggurats, the babel tower, the space program, the 7 star hotel, and a bunch of other crap. I was gaining money at rate of about $5k/second.

When I was young, it occurred to me that a flash of scientific Brilliance could appear to me, which I would ignore due to the fact that Scientists seem to know everything.

The best thing is when you make educated guesses about how the world works, using the facts you already know to come to a conclusion, and it turns out being right. Sure, some guy may have figured it out and made it common knowledge before you did, but you still managed to figure something out on your own.
I dunno, maybe I just get so excited about science because I want to be a Biologist...
