At the start of the video, they bump thimbles with each other. They have thimbles on because that song's arpeggiations go up to a high F#\B chord, which, at its highest note, is on the 30th fret of the high E string. Guitars don't go that high, so they tap the string with a thimble to get that note out.

My record is ~72 hours. Bought Diablo II (when it was pretty new) on a friday afternoon after work, started playing, kept playing continuously until monday morning., then went to work. At work, I kept passing out whilst trying to do my job :/ had to address all the envelopes, and I'd literally pass out in the middle of writing names and leave a cliched line of ink veering off the envelope!

I've been this tired once before.

First full semester of school after my first kid was born.  Also my first semester taking a 3d class, which has an insanely sharp learning curve in the beginning.  I averaged 4 hours of sleep a night for abut 4 straight months, plus a couple week's worth of all-nighters sprinkled in.  No catching up through that entire period.

I was working at Fedex Express as a package handler at the time, constantly moving at a rapid pace, scanning and stacking boxes.  By the end of that semester, I was falling asleep at work while moving full speed.  I would just slow down and stop, and then stand there for sometimes several minutes with a box in my hand, just sleeping on my feet.  I fell asleep a couple times while talking to people face to face, like in the middle of speaking a sentence.  Sometimes when driving, I would have to simply scream as loud as I could just to keep my eyes open.

I got 11 hours of sleep last night.

Didn't even know that was possible! Usually I automatically wake up after 10 hours or at 6:00 (depending on if it's a weekday).

I think about 20 hours of sleep in a sitting is the most I have ever managed, but then I was somewhat sick and most of that was in a weird half awake half asleep state that is very unsatisfying as far as rest goes. Do not want that again.

Damn.  My record is 17 hours.  That was restful, uninterrupted sleep without illness, though.
