Possibly.  This one was kind of easy.  In the last half of the game, I was infrequently taking any sort of damage, and it's not even like I did a very good job of allocating my skill points.
ME1 is easy enough on Normal, but it's also the only ME game I haven't beaten on Insane. I've only been able to get through ME1 on Hardened. I was too demoralized to finish my Insane run. Let's just say that the trick to being able to cooldown faster than your gun heats up is probably a necessity in the later parts of the game.

Beating the last Feros fight was nigh-fucking-impossible. I think I stopped on some random planet with a particularly difficult habitat battle.
