Client who ACTUALLY worked with me, who I pulled straight out of hell, and disrepair, and drugs and everything, no longer has anything holding him here. Somehow, he actually got that something better and is leaving the state for it. To hell with everybody, I will never regret going to his house, getting him awake and driving him to rehab. Ordinarily, I never would, because I'm often afraid of what many people I represent would leave in my car, among other things....
I am amazed by the sheer number of people who just refuse to go to the rehab classes I set up for them. I am completely decimated by the musicians who have O.D.ed on me and/or committed suicide and whom I. could. not. help. I don't keep count, because the number is one my mind could count but couldn't stand to reach. Combine that with the bastards who just hate public defenders and attorneys in general because I can't give them the impossible and hand waive away their crimes, and well.... I don't know that souls exist except that I've seen those without one and those who have had them drained and am among that last group (and according to some, the first as well...).
Drugs are made of the things that break hearts and hopes.
So we'll tie up the other lose ends, and you'll go and don't you ever look back....
