I choose my shoes based on whether you can walk in the country with them (E.G these fashionable cowboy boots I am currently wearing) or walk on pavement with them (those nice city shoes I have). That shoe manages to fail at both of those parameters. You can't even say it's designed for sitting down in, because it's terrible and painful at all times. You can't even walk down a catwalk in a fashion show with them!

They're sort of brownish, but they're actually twenty years old and from Venezuela so I think that makes up for it. Thank God for uncles who just have this sort of stuff lying around.

Speaking of shoe's, I need some. Ever since I started buying them at walmart, I go through 2 pair a year as they fall apart, and I don't even walk that much and I use inserts for my arches so the inside shouldn't wear either, but it does.

When I was 18 I bought a pair of boots and a pair of leather shoes at a factory outlet for $150. They lasted 10 years before they started to show wear. Now I don't know anywhere I can find shoes like that anymore.

I tried, once. Many years ago. Because, y'know. It's good to know. And I still remember it pretty well.

Because it was miserable. Above and beyond the whole staying standing part, they just kinda' hurt (and they fit, too, insofar as that goes. They weren't too large or small. Just painful.). Feet aren't meant to support weight like that D: Or at least mine aren't. Either/or.

That said. Regardless of gender, you can rock the disco. Heels like a g'damn. Get some bling, slip on that fro. Boogie down the street.
